ABOUT SANJIVANI SPIRITS
64 years ago, a visionary had dreamt a dream. A dream of building a world-class organisation. A dream of employment generation and betterment of the lives of his fellow villagers at Kopargaon. Late Honourable Shri Shankarraoji Kolhe Saheb- an agriculture graduate and a first-generation entrepreneur and a disruptor was working in Europe. He was poised to open a factory in Switzerland. However, there was an indomitable hunger to do something for his country and specifically his village. That’s how the foundation of Sahakar Maharshi Shankarrao Kolhe Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. was laid. His dream was backed by poor, illiterate small landholders of the Kopargaon Taluka. From a humble start, the group today has diversified interests in Education, Sugar, Liquor, Ethanol, Chemicals, Pharma, Power and Solvents as well.
In the early 1980s, under the visionary leadership of Late Honourable Shri Shankarrao Kolhe , Sahkar Maharshi Shankarrao Kolhe Sanjivani Sahkari Sakhar karkhana established its first liquor division by introducing Country Liquor CL1 - 36. The product introduced under the brand “Sanjivani Bobby Santra” became an instant market hit among country liquor enthusiasts. By 1996, SMSSK Ltd became one of the top Country liquor entities in India.
With the liquor market getting organised, Sanjivani Spirits started working on introducing different flavours to meet the rising market demands. These diverse brands were appreciated by our customers and helped successfully positioned Sanjivani Spirits as one of the leaders in the mass market segment.
Sanjivani Spirits has always aimed at creating a one-to-one relationship with all its consumers. This allows brands to treat everyone as an individual in their own right and respond to the unique desires of all the consumers.
